Biography

The research interests of d-r Trpevska extend over several fields: Social Research Methodology, Sociology of Mass Communication, Critical Thinking and Media Literacy, Media Policy and Regulation and Journalism Studies. Until July of 2009 she was employed by the Broadcasting Council as Head of the Research and Strategic Development Department. Since 2008, she has been employed as lecturer at the School of Journalism and Public Relations, and since 2013 she has been a professor at the Institute of Communication Studies in Skopje.

In the past years, she has participated in numerous academic and applied research projects related to the freedom of expression and media pluralism, media literacy, audience attitudes and behavior in relation to media content, media concentration and broadcasting regulation, ethics in journalism etc.
