Biography

Marija Nashokovska has been working in the field of monitoring and evaluation for more than fifteen years. Nashokovska's engagements are primarily related to conducting evaluations, assessments, developing and establishing M&E systems for various programs. At the end of 2017, she was hired as an M&E Specialist in the development of Strategy for Public Administration Reform in North Macedonia. Previously, on two occasions, she was hired as a Specialist to evaluate the impact of a project related to the development of local climate change strategies in eight municipalities in North Macedonia. She was also a national evaluator to assess the results of development assistance granted by the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA) to North Macedonia.


Her M&E experience covers the areas of democracy and good governance, education, children, youth and climate change. Nashokovska has been a member of the European Society of Evaluators since 2006 and has participated in several conferences where she presented papers in her field. She currently works as Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning of the USAID Business Ecosystem Project in North Macedonia.
